I've been having a problem with how the windows behave.
There are two problems. I think they might be related, but I'm don't really know.
I'm not very good at explaining technical issues, so please, let me know if I left out something crucial.
Problem 1:
When I minimize a window I can't open it again. I've tried the following:
1) In the application click Windows in the menu. The minimized document is listed, but when I select it nothing happens.
2) In the dock click the application and then All windows. The minimized document is listed, but when I select it nothing happens.
3) Alt + tab shows me all open documents and running applications, but here too selecting the previously minimized document does nothing.
The only way I've found so far to get back into the document is closing it and reopening it.
Problem 2:
The windows change size. This seems to happen randomly.
When this happens part of the window is covered by the fixed dock.
I then have to resize the window, but as I can't use minimize and then maximize, I have to slide to resize, which is not very practical.
